(GIS) Commissioner of Constitutional Affairs Sarah Wescot-Williams says the Round Table Conference (RTC) held on December 15 Kingdom Day, has given St. Maarten the chance to show the Kingdom that the island was able to submit and receive approval of the vetting committee for the constitution, legislation and organization of country St. Maarten with respect to the criteria agreed to collectively.

"We were able to conclude that the RTC agreed to the position of St. Maarten to have in its own constitution the possibility of constitutional review," she stated.
