(GIS) Commissioner of Constitutional Affairs Sarah Wescot-Williams says that a joint Central Bank and currency for Curacao and St. Maarten, after attaining country status, will be tabled during the Kingdom Political Steering Group meeting in St. Maarten on November 26.

Commissioner Wescot-William would be meeting with her colleague from Curacao Commissioner Zita Jesus-Leito and Mike Willem (Finance) on Sunday to prepare for the November 26 meeting.

Position papers of both islands and the Central Bank of the Netherlands Antilles have been prepared on having a monetary union.
