Members of the Constitutional Organizational Process

The Island Council of the Island Territory St. Maarten after the June 23, 2000 referendum, established several bodies by Island Council Resolution namely, the Permanent Committee Constitutional Affairs (PCCA), the Work Group for Constitutional Affairs (WGC), and three Sub Groups, Government Organization (GOSG), Constitutional Relations (CRSG), and the Financial-Economic Matters (FESG).

The role of the PCCA is to approve documents and papers that have been prepared by the various sub groups. The WGC coordinates the process with reference to the preparation of papers and documents and prepares strategies for the PCCA.
